It's celebration time at my house!
My husband is an autobody repair man and does restorations on the side. Here’s a 40 Ford he just finished (only the outside was done so far). He spent 6 months working on this, giving up a lot of our weekends, and now it's done! (He owes me a nice long getaway, BTW) We wouldn’t have chosen this color if it was ours to choose, but it turned out nice.

That is tough! I love old cars. Don't know much about them, but love to look :)

Cool hot rod! But I miss the lightning bolts on the side. *g*

It's not completely finished yet. Hubby cut him a deal, he just did the body and paint work and the guy is going to put it back together. The guy may do the lightning bolts on the side. He was talking about doing something to contrast the color. I don't know. At first I was thinking a dark, glitterry pimpy purple would be cool. :D

I LOVE cars from the '40's! I keep nagging my husband to get me one. ;-)

The car looks great Emma. I used to be really up on classic and antique cars, especially muscle cars. These days I settle for looking but I can still appreciate a great car.

The blog site looks great. :)
