Interesting Tidbits

Want to know even more about me? Visit http://mandyroth.com/blog/

Here's some more info about me:

I love coffee. I only drink 2-3 cups a day (except on weekends, where I'll drink much more), but I've been trying to cut back to only weekends for certain reasons. I've been drinking less for the past few months, skipping days, etc, and it has made me realize that my life has gone to H-E-double hockey sticks since I've cut down. Do I feel better? Absolutely not. My attitude isn't the same if I don't have my coffee. It's worse. :) So, I'm drinking it again, just trying to drink less (and no, don't even mention decaffeinated! It doesn't work for me!) It's not like coffee is horrible for us. I've always thought it was good for you even before the "experts" said it was. And why rob ourselves of every enjoyment? I can't eat chocolate everyday (well, I could, but the consequences would be much worse than my coffee), so why rob myself of the one thing I enjoy?

Speaking of enjoying things, I wanted to point you over to The Blonde Duck's Blog today. She blogged about what would happen if she was a dog. It made me smile and realize that we miss out on so many things because we're trying to be mature, responsible adults. I've jumped in mud puddles with my niece, but it's been awhile. It's easy to get "stuck in a rut" and have tunnel vision when you're pursuing a goal. Stop and smell the roses! Take time to enjoy something you normally don't take time for. You might be looked upon as a little strange if you put your nose in a water sprinkler, but do something different! Oh yeah, this is a reminder to myself, too.

Share an interesting fact about you! This month's contest is...just comment something about you and I'll draw a name at the end of the week. Anyone who comments until March 1 will be entered to win. What do you win? Well, since I can't always give something away, this time you will earn a spot from me on my blog for a day. If you're a published author, you can share your excerpt, your book cover, blurb and/or a book trailer (if I can figure out how to post the dang trailers). If you're a reader, you can blog whatever you want for a day on my blog. Yep, nothing fancy by any means, but it's a contest! Can't wait to see what happens!
